고대인들은 해와 달의 움직임을 관찰하며 시간의 흐름을 가늠했다. 달이 초승달에서 보름달로, 다시 그믐달로 모습을 바꾸는 동안 해는 하늘을 가로지르며 시간당 약 15도씩 움직인다. 이 설치 작업에서 형태를 바꾸어 가는 해와 달의 상(象)은 360도 회전하며 전시장의 벽과 천장, 기둥, 그리고 관객의 몸 위로 투사된다. 이를 통해 천체의 시간적 리듬이 물리적 공간 안에서 어떻게 구현되는지 탐구하고, 우주의 순환과 인간의 존재를 찰나의 순간 마주하게 한다.
In ancient times, people measured the passage of time by observing the movements of the sun and the moon. The moon transitions through its phases—from crescent to full, and back to the new moon—while the sun moves approximately 15 degrees every hour across the sky. In this installation, the shifting forms of the sun and the moon rotate 360 degrees, projecting their images onto the walls, ceilings, pillars, and the very bodies and memories of the audience. This work explores how the celestial rhythms of time manifest within a physical space, creating a momentary encounter between cosmic cycles and the human presence.
