근 몇 년간의 겨울은 매서운 추위와 봄을 짐작하기 어려운 전염병이 뒤섞인 채 몹시 응축된 시간을 지나고 있습니다. 하지만 농사를 지으며 마주한 해가 뜨고 지는 무수한 변화 속에서, 작은 씨앗들은 얼고 녹기를 반복하며 흙이 부드러워지기를 기다리며 각자의 겨울을 지내고 있었습니다. 이렇듯 긴 기다림 끝에 찾아올 봄의 온기와 희망을 세우는 마음이, 겨울을 지나는 모든 존재에게 깊이 깃들기를 바랍니다. 지난 3년 동안 직접 농사를 지으며 밭에 남겨진 식물들을 수집해 왔습니다. 흙에서 피어나 다시 대지로 돌아가기 전, 땅에서 솟아난 하나의 '별'이 머금고 있는 시간의 흔적들을 품어보고자 했습니다.
In recent years, our winters have passed through a period of intense condensation, blending bitter cold with an unpredictable pandemic. Yet, amidst the countless sunrises and sunsets I faced while farming, I saw small seeds enduring their own winters—repeatedly freezing and thawing, waiting for the soil to soften. I hope that the warmth of the coming spring and a heart full of hope will settle deeply within all beings passing through this winter. Over the past three years, I have collected plants left in the fields. Before they return to the earth from which they bloomed, I wished to embrace the traces of time held within these 'stars' that rose from the ground.
